Now I am a wireless and mobile Techie

I can now say I am a satified techie when it comes to mobile advocacy and wireless network. Thanks to Brenda, Fatima, Lilian and Cheekay. They are wonderful techies and Geekies.

All we have being doing since yesterday has summed up into knowing how to set up wireless network and how to send SMS to a large group for advocacy. Though this SMS sending required payment and all. We used frontline SMS. The outcome of this is that APC as agreed to foot the bill of continuation of SMS sending among the FTX/AWID participants on important issues. Thank you APC!

And Nyaki said “ To add to that we were able to learn how to use Frontline sms for advocacy and consider sending loads of bulk smses to numerous addresses using Clickatell.com. We even sent test messages to our phones and it worked and we were able to reply to our computers….how cool is that….the world is now our playground!!!!”
