VAW

I witnessed the most powerful protest in history today. The most important part of this protest was the fact that I was there. I was there to join women from all across the oceans, from all around the world to say NO TO VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN, to support our brother and sisters in SOUTH AFRICA during 1 in 9 campaign to advocate for justice in different pending women’s human rights issues, to remind the world TO STOP WAR ON OUR BODIES.

Throughout FTX we were prompted into reflecting on questions such as: what might a feminist practice of technology might look like? Why can’t the women’s movement afford to ignore technology? Such key questions underpinned the purpose of FTX and have strongly affected my thinking as we have moved from FTX into the AWID forum.
