THE MOST POWERFUL MARCH IN THE HISTORY OF WOMEN STRUGGLE
Submitted by Oluwatoyin on Sat, 11/15/2008 - 18:07.I witnessed the most powerful protest in history today. The most important part of this protest was the fact that I was there. I was there to join women from all across the oceans, from all around the world to say NO TO VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN, to support our brother and sisters in SOUTH AFRICA during 1 in 9 campaign to advocate for justice in different pending women’s human rights issues, to remind the world TO STOP WAR ON OUR BODIES.

Now I am a wireless and mobile Techie
Submitted by Oluwatoyin on Tue, 11/11/2008 - 16:42.I can now say I am a satified techie when it comes to mobile advocacy and wireless network. Thanks to Brenda, Fatima, Lilian and Cheekay. They are wonderful techies and Geekies.
All we have being doing since yesterday has summed up into knowing how to set up wireless network and how to send SMS to a large group for advocacy. Though this SMS sending required payment and all. We used frontline SMS. The outcome of this is that APC as agreed to foot the bill of continuation of SMS sending among the FTX/AWID participants on important issues. Thank you APC!
